The first wedding night should be private and intimate, right?
Well, not for this newly wed couple who got several witnesses while making love on their very first night as husband and wife.
What’s more awkward was when one of the family members snap a photo of them as they came to their climax and posted it on social media where it receives mixed reactions from netizens.
This is just one of Singapore’s “special” traditions being passed down through generation, where they would witness their male family members’ first s**.
The one who snapped the photo was the man’s uncle who explained that being a witness on someone’s honeymoon is the “LAST STEP ON THE LONG JOURNEY TO ADULTHOOD, AND A SPECIAL CHANCE TO WITNESS THE MOMENT THAT A NEW LIFE IS FORMED.”
“While most people may consider it odd, for our family there is notjing proud than celebrating a son, brother or a nephew having s** for the first time,” the uncle added.
