Avoid Using Hand Dryers in The Public Restrooms if You Don’t Want To Have This

Many people are not aware that the hand dryers we usually use when we are in public bathrooms can spread more bacteria than paper towels.

People think that they will be away from bacteria on their hands when they used hand dryers, but they’re actually wrong.

A recent study proved that the amount of bacteria in the air around hand dryers in public bathrooms are 27 times higher than the amount of bacteria present in paper towels.

About the Study

The study has test dispersal of 3 different hand-washing methods (paper towels, conventional warm-air dryers, jet dryers) in order to find out which one is the best for usage. They have discovered that high-velocity can spread 65 times more viral plaque-forming units than the warm-air dryers.

The members were asked to wear gloves and wash their hands in air-controlled rooms in which different types of hand dryers and paper-towel dispensers were installed. The purpose of this research was to find out which one of them dispersed the greatest quantity of viruses.

The findings caused a lot of commotion, specifically among hand-dryers producers. They are blaming the paper towel manufacturers and accusing them that they have funded this study to increase their sales.

You should avoid public restrooms as much as possible. Also, it is advisable to wash your hands thoroughly every time you go to the toilet because in that way you can prevent bacteria dispersal.
