People usually take the receipt without gloves while some take it with gloves. The researchers have shown that people that held the paper without gloves had increased levels of Bisphenol A (BPA) in their pee while the people who took the paper with gloves did not have increased BPA.
Scientists have linked the BPA with some hormonal disorders, problems with conception and brain development at little children, and it could also be found in canned food, hard plastics, and some fabrics.
Furthermore, it was discovered that Bisphenol A is also used in making the special ATM paper that is later used by POS machines as a part of the business sectors, market, parkways and different spots.
Don’t let this industrial chemical to get on your hands. Be careful to avoid having any health problems.

– Manufacturers are creating more and more BPA-free products. Look for products labeled as BPA-free.
– Reduce your use of canned foods since most cans are lined with BPA-containing resin.
– Use glass, porcelain or stainless steel containers for hot foods and liquids instead of plastic containers.
