Basically, detoxification means cleansing the blood. This is done by removing impurities from the blood in the liver, where toxins are processed for elimination.
The body also eliminates toxins through the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system, and skin. However, when these systems are compromised, impurities aren’t properly filtered and the body is adversely affected.

* Stop consuming dairy products two days before you start the detoxification, because they’re slowly digested and can prevent the treatment itself. Your body must be cleaned from the toxins that dairy products contain before it starts with lung cleansing.
* The first thing you need to do is drink 1 cup of herbal laxative (e.g. Black Forest) tea one night before you start the cleansing process. It will help you cleanse the intestines from toxins which usually cause constipation.
* Make a drink of lemon juice from 2 whole lemons and ½ a cup of water. Drink it before breakfast. It will help you digest powerful alkaline foods that will help your lungs regenerate.
* After the breakfast, drink 1.5 cup of grapefruit juice. You can dilute it with water if you don’t like the taste or replace it with pineapple juice. Both grapefruit and pineapple are rich in antioxidants that keep the respiratory system healthy.
* After that, take 1 to 1.5 pure carrot juice between breakfast and lunch. This juice will help you alkalize your body during the detoxification treatment. Carrots are rich in beta-carotene which body turns into vitamin A. That makes them truly beneficial for the respiratory tract.
* Drink 1.5 cups of potassium juice during lunch. Potassium is a powerful antioxidant. It cleans the body very effectively, especially if it’s consumed as a liquid. You can get this juice by squeezing celery, parsley, sea greens, carrots and spinach. If you don’t have a juicer, use the Noni juice mixed with one cup of water. You can buy it in the healthy food stores.
* Drink 1 cup of mucus-cleansing tea one hour before dinner. It is rich in ginger, rose hips and peppermint. They are all excellent against mucus build up, stuffy nose and congestion. You can find it or they may prepare it for you in the healthy food stores.
* Drink 340 ml of pure cranberry juice before going to bed. It helps against bacteria in the lungs which can cause serious infections. Cranberries are powerful antioxidants and are really beneficial for your blood and urine.
